Ali Williams - Celebrant
After graduating from Middlesex Uni with a 2:1 in Performing Arts (many moons ago)! I became a voice-over artist, worked as an actress in a ‘Theatre In Education’ company and found myself singing in a band!
Through my work in Theatre In Education with the Essex police and Essex FM - I was offered a role on their Breakfast show as a traffic/travel girl. I enjoyed many years in radio presenting for Capital Digital and then found my groove on the airwaves of Kent landing a job on Kent's Heart FM, co-hosting the Breakfast show.
I left the radio in 2008 left to have my beautiful baby boy (who is now a teenager!) and moved to Beckenham (South East London / Kent borders).I have always sung and still perform solo or in my duo at various weddings, parties and events. See below for my music showreel:

Through being a mum attending music/dance classes with my son (and using my background in singing and drama) I decided to invest in a franchise business - Boppin Tots, an award winning, fun, energetic music group for pre-schoolers. I have been working with children either in my own classes or through kids parties for the last 12 years and I love it. Children are spontaneous, unpredictable and so much fun. They keep me on my toes and help me continue to deliver fresh and exciting classes that captivate and entertain. See below for more info on the classes I do for pre-schoolers:

I think it is really important to celebrate milestones and to make them as personal and unique as possible. I have been to a fair amount of couple ceremonies as a professional singer and guest. So have seen an array of registrars and vicars, but only recently have I seen a celebrant in action. I was doing the children's entertainment at a naming ceremony and the personal touches and unique insight the celebrant gave to the occasion, was truly magical and something that really struck a chord with me.
I did my research and found Civil Ceremonies offered training and qualifications; I gained a Diploma in Celebrancy; Naming and Couples.
